It's no secret that there is some good-natured beef between Noah Kahan and the state of Connecticut. In reality, it's no secret that there is some beef between the state of Connecticut and the rest of New England (including whether or not Connecticut is considered a part of the region), though I can't promise how good-natured that is.
So while it wasn't surprising to find that Noah Kahan’s The Great Divide Tour isn't slated to make any stops in the state, doing so would be the perfect opportunity for a little wordplay and a chance to further lean into the dynamic at hand.
Cue KAHANECTICUT; where for one night only the state becomes Noah Kahan's.
The takeover centers on an honorary respelling of the state's name; combining that of Noah's last name with the state's traditional spelling, which could prompt changes to road signs and map locations, and of course culminate in a show.
The following is a short run of merch and visual assets that I would design for that takeover; featuring nods to the state, the various themes featured throughout the album, and an overall Noah Kahan style and aesthetic.
