A collection of work from my time as a Graphic Design Intern with the Portland-based design agency, HUB Collective. In this role, I partnered with senior designers and strategy team members on non-profit, higher education, and small business client projects. The work I contributed to spans across print and digital deliverables, fundraising and marketing collateral, and brand design.
Client: City of Ellsworth, Maine
HUB Collective was hired to facilitate the organizational structures and visual assets behind the Union River Impact Study, which was a study created to provide locals with an understanding of the future economic and community impacts of restoring the ecological functions of the Union River.
As a means of driving awareness and increasing engagement around the Union River Study, I worked with the strategy team to design postcards, flyers, and social media graphics informing the community about key events and opportunities to have their voices heard throughout the process.
Client: Child Aid
Child Aid's program Guatemalan Girls: The Value of Our Voices is an after school program that aims to boost the confidence of Indigenous Guatemalan girls, while encouraging them to stay in school longer.
This round-up of graphics, which includes posters, board books, social media posts, and a bi-fold brochure, were created for various Child Aid fundraising events and initiatives. Their purpose was to engage, inform, and inspire new and existing donors to invest financially in Child Aid, in order to meet the continually expanding needs of this program.
Client: Linfield University
Linfield University is a private liberal arts university located in McMinnville, Oregon that offers students a community-focused college experience, with small class sizes and highly customizable degree pathways.
In partnership with the Office of Admissions, and working within university brand guidelines, this postcard series was created with incoming and prospectives students in mind, to either peak their interest in attending the university or to inform them of important upcoming deadlines.
Client: Emery County, Utah
Emery County is a county in Utah known for its opportunity to adventure. Their motto "Life Energized" is rooted in the vibrance of their community and the outdoor-based culture that the region lends itself to.
Part of HUB's work for Emery County was creating their Visitors Guide, outlining key attractions, activities, local spots, and accommodations for visitors. My role on the project was to utilize their brand assets to explore front and back cover layouts featuring scenes and activities that captured the vast spirit of the region.
